DOL does keep records of every request we receive. These requests are public records and could be released if they are responsive to a public records request.
Requests can only be for specific, identifiable, existing records. If we are unable to locate any records based on your request, we may contact you for additional information. Please try to be as detailed as possible in your request, to aid us in locating the records you need.
Some records require a separate form or fee in order to be processed.
There may be a fee for scanning or copying the records you requested.
ESHB 1594 requires state agencies to track the expense of filling requests for public records. You will see this reflected in the staff cost portion of your request. This is not a direct expense to you. If you are asked to pay for scanning, copying, or data services you will recive a detailed invoice about the charges.
The availablility of some records is based on permissable use. By providing us with information about how you will use the records, we will be able to determine what level of access we are legally allowed to give to you. The more specific you are, the better we will be able to help.
